HELLO THERE!
Hello! I’m Lucy. I recently moved to Dublin, Ireland with my lovely wife Rosamund and our very precious pup, Juni.
We just relocated after seven years of living in the American South in Memphis, Tennessee where I fully embraced the extra sunshine, “y’all”, fried chicken, BBQ, and the slower pace of life.
While I was in the US, I built a career in photojournalism and documentary photography, working with publications such as TIME Magazine, The New York Times, The Atlantic, and Vogue on stories about human rights, social justice, and the environment. Living and working across the American South is what really shaped me, getting to know people and communities navigating inequality, resilience, and the fight to be seen. Photography is how I understand the world, and it informs everything about how I communicate and connect with people.
We also have a sweet pup named Juniper. She loves to cuddle, chew socks, and snuffle for treats. Juni has the sweetest personality and loves everyone she meets including her two mums.
Her nicknames include: BB, Mississippi snugglehound, sweeeeet baby, and precious muppet.
I am totally a millennial dog mum, and actually, I’m really okay with it.
My wife and I met the modern way, on a dating app. We dated for several months before I did the classic lesbian move and u-hauled into her apartment (which worked out great for me because she is an exceptionally good cook, and more importantly, a wonderful human.)
The rest is history, as they say.
We decided to do a very small, intimate London city elopement just before moving to Memphis. Our photographs were done by my good friend Sara at Lincoln Pictures.
I take a very relaxed approach to my photo sessions, and often I just want to go on a bit of a walk, get to know you a little better and make some beautiful photographs in the in-between moments. No stuffy formal posing, just some laughs and plenty of cuddles between you!
If this sounds like your kind of thing, please get in touch with me, I would absolutely love to work with you!
Come and say hello!

Documentary and photojournalistic. I'm not directing you too much into poses. I'm in the background catching the real moments: the in-jokes, the nerves, the bits nobody plans. The goal is photos that feel like how the day or session actually felt, not a highlight reel of stiff smiles.
